But the retired businessman and president of Kent County Golf Union denies this.

Today he told a press conference in London that he had been illegally tricked by agents when he was unwittingly caught up in a customs sting. He said: "I was the victim of the unlawful conduct of US agents who pretended to belong to a false company, known as Mercury Global Enterprises (MGE). It exists solely to ensnare unsuspecting importers."

A hearing at Westminster magistrates' court on 2 September will decide whether Mr Tappin will be tried in a US court. He said today: "I deny these allegations. Even though I am certain I did nothing wrong I would be happy to face trial in the UK and not the USA." He added: "My wife suffers from Churg-Strauss syndrome [a disease of the blood system], which is very serious. She needs my constant support and attention." The deal is Bvlgari Watches alleged to have been organised by Mr Tappin at Brooklands International Freight Services, based in South Nutfield, Surrey. He was a director of the firm. His lawyers say he was approached by a US client, Robert Gibson, and agreed to export batteries, worth about Pounds 5,000 each, from America to Holland, in 2006.

Mr Tappin insists he had no idea they were ultimately intended for re-export to Iran to make weapons.

"I was told they were going to be using them for electrolysis in the car industry," he said. Mr Tappin says Mr Gibson put him in touch with MGE.

This firm provided documents stating there would be no problem with the deal. But the documents MGE provided were fakes, and the company turned out to be a front for US undercover customs officers. He said: "They [the agents] misled me by sending me paperwork which clearly stated, 'no licence required."

His solicitor Ben Seifert said he would appeal if the court backed extradition. The case has also been taken up by Karen Todner, the solicitor representing Gary McKinnon, who faces extradition over allegations he hacked into Pentagon computers.
                        replica gucci clutches Handbags
Shami Chakrabarti, director of Liberty, described Britain's extradition deal with the US as "rotten". She said: "No one is safe from being shipped off like freight on the basis of allegations from around the world" while the agreement is in place.

A Home Office spokesman said: "The Government is committed to a review of the Extradition Act, but we cannot comment on individual cases."

I'd be happy to face trial in the UK but not in America Christopher Tappin

Other articles:
http://www.taiandaily.com/Nearly-0-pct-of-Chinas-expor.html
http://www.nwskglj.cn/Blog/View/?724
...

<trackback:ping>http://www.qdxiqu.com/cmd.asp?act=tb&id=332&key=2c2b9d7d</trackback:ping>

I will confess that I am a fan

I will confess that I am a fan of the fanny pack, which is why I jumped at the chance to request a free one on the internet. So it's not the right time to map out judicial interpretations for them," Sun said.

Hermes Shoes Sun revealed that the court will also release a set of judicial interpretations focusing on the application of law on conflicts involving foreign investment companies on termination issues such as disbandment and liquidation.

Other articles:
http://blog.ccidnet.com/blog.php?do=showone&uid=492373&type=blog&itemid=8788068
http://www.dalian88.com.cn/plus/view.php?aid=64735
...

<trackback:ping>http://www.qdxiqu.com/cmd.asp?act=tb&id=329&key=c0ce29f1</trackback:ping>

Hot Mikado at the Minack I sho

AFTER their resounding success at the Hall for Cornwall in 2009 with their production of Hot Mikado, Truro Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society have been asked to take the show down to the cliff top Minack theatre at Porthcurno. With most of the original cast and principals and under the direction of Trevor Hitchings, this strong group of performers have restaged the show to suit the Minack setting, creating a lively and colourful spectacle of a musical. For those who didn't see the show at the HfC it tells the story of Nanki- Poo (played by Darren Seed), the Mikado's son who is masquerading as a second trumpet player and arrives in the town Tory Burch of Titipu looking for his beautiful Yum-Yum ( played by Roxanne Bray).

After bribing various officials he learns that she is still going to Fendi handbags be marrying a former tailor turned Lord High Executioner, Koko. Meanwhile, the Mikado demands that KoKo execute one person within the next month. Nanki-Poo agrees to be executed as long as he can spend a month as Yum-Yum's husband. However, the plan goes awry when the Mikado makes a surprise visit to Titipu and brings with him Katisha, an older woman who is pursuing Nanki-Poo. There are star performances from principles Andrew Kennedy as KoKo, with expert comedy timing, Michelle Moses as Katisha, the vampy battleaxe who has some of the best diva ballads in the show and the bluesy voice of Laura Hargreaves as Pitti Sing. TAODS 2009 production of Hot Mikado was awarded the Wilfred Roe Trophy for Chorus Singing by NODA South West, so you can be Herve Leger sure of great company numbers supported by a big band sound directed by Alastair Taylor. Post show at fashion weeks, there are many get-togethers and parties which happen and Fake Dolce & Gabbana I tend to hang out with colleagues who are models, stylists and designers. A jury agreed with the prosecution's case that he snatched the teenager off the street in Yeovil and subjected her to a horrifying sexual ordeal.

Lawyers acting for Cullen argued her sentence was too long given that she had admitted her crime, shown genuine remorse and had not acted on any of Fell's requests.
        http://www.wubags.com/handbags-l/
They also told the court another conspirator, 35-year-old Daniel Williams, of Arundel Way, Yeovil, was only jailed for 19 months after being convicted by a jury of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

The appeal judges said they were unable to suspend the jail term, describing the offence as "a very serious matter" - but agreed to cut the sentence to 10 months.

Mr Justice Davis said: "We think, in the circumstances, that a sentence of two years in this case was significantly longer than was necessary and was too long.

"We think that the appropriate sentence should have been one of 10 months imprisonment.

"Conspiracy to pervert the course of justice is a very serious matter indeed and it is important that the courts take a relatively stern stance in these cases."

Other articles:
http://www.illegalsubstanceblog.com/blog.php?user=mywatches&note=10179
http://www.kf99.net/SpeakMe-Registers-000000th.html
...

<trackback:ping>http://www.qdxiqu.com/cmd.asp?act=tb&id=322&key=193aeda1</trackback:ping>

Rare Asian kittens out to show

A litter of rare and unusual fishing kittens have been delighting children at a Cornish zoo.
               tiffany jewellery on sale
The three nine-week-old cubs, which swim underwater to catch their prey in the wild, are the product of a breeding program designed to protect the endangered creature.

Sam Harley, head keeper at Newquay Zoo, said the tiny Asian Fishing Cats were still quite wary of humans but were entertaining children by stalking their food.

"The kids absolutely love them," she said. ''I'd go to school covered in cuts and black eyes. It wasn't just slaps, it was stamping and full-on punches. He used bits of furniture to hit me and my three brothers and sisters.

"The worst thing was watching him hit my mum when she had cancer.

Bundled "He didn't want us to be Westernised and refused to let us read or watch TV.
               handbags-z
"Then one night he bundled us into a van and took us to Bangladesh. We thought we were never coming back, but then he got ill and died. None of us mourned him.

"My mum got cancer again and persuaded his relatives to let us come back to England so she could be treated. We settled in Birmingham when I was eight."

Not that life was that much better then for Jan, a pupil at Holte School in Aston. "I'd get robbed all the time for money and my bike. It wasn't nice,'' he says. "I hung around in gangs, though we weren't violent - we were more interested in chasing girls! We got involved in stealing cars, smoking drugs and taking Ecstasy.

"I was a troubled kid. With all the nasty things I'd seen, I didn't think I had much of a future.

"I moved to London at 18 but felt lost and depressed. I had panic attacks, insomnia and suicidal thoughts. "I went to the doctor's for a hay fever jab and found myself saying 'Actually, I think I'm going to kill myself quite soon'. (Bally). Now is the time to keep the old Mercedes going and to spend his savings on a shrewdly chosen group of paintings

This recession is likely to have an appalling effect on the art market -- as did the oil crisis of 1973, from which there was no sign of recovery until 1978. Panerai Watches To both the collector with a modest purse and the cold-hearted investor weary of stocks and shares, it offers extraordinary opportunities. (Watches). This is the time -- and it may stay the time for a quinquennium or so -- for both to make disciplined searches of every auction house, to stride bravely into the premises of every dealer in Bond Street, Cork Street and St James's, ask the price and bargain like an Istanbuli merchant in the Grand Bazaar

This they can begin to do tomorrow, for then -- until the following Friday -- the art trade is presenting Master Paintings Week (masterpaintings weekcouk), in which 25 of the world's leading dealers and the three major auction houses will show their most exalted wares Little on view will be inexpensive enough for the sane man, but it is an easy way of learning the geography of the London art trade. tiffany and co

Later, when the need for competitive boasting and the parroting of fabulous prices have no point, the sane man may return and make his modest killing The immediate point is that no intending collector should be deterred by the prices asked for or achieved by important paintings at the height of the season, for all that brouhaha is engineered to attract furth
Other articles:
http://mywatches.bloghostal.com/5644/Judge+Men+accused+of+murder+to.html
http://www.mingdaocn.com/Around-Alamo-Gently-used-soles.html
...

<trackback:ping>http://www.qdxiqu.com/cmd.asp?act=tb&id=316&key=c1235306</trackback:ping>

I wooed Jeremy Irons ; [euro]4

  Byline: Tom Worden

AFTER a night dining and dancing in the company of film star Jeremy Irons, Spanish actress Loles Leon was hoping for something more than conviviality when he invited her back with friends to his hotel suite.

The Cork-based actor's understated charm had apparently worked its magic on Miss Leon and she was looking forward to a romantic encounter.

But instead of the evening culminating in a passionate embrace, it ended in hospital after she fell down a flight of stairs in Irons's suite.

Following a decade-long legal battle, Loles Leon, now 57, has been awarded E44,000 in compensation after breaking her pelvis in the Madrid hotel room of the married Englishman.
    Men VERSACE t shirts
The two had met earlier in the evening on a television show, went for dinner and then out dancing before returning to the five-star Santo Mauro hotel with a small group 'for one last drink'.

But the lights in Irons' suite were not working, and the actress fell down 18 steps, seriously injuring herself, as she looked for a switch.

Miss Leon, from Barcelona, spent 36 days in hospital following the incident in October 1999.

She has fought a lengthy legal battle with the hotel ever since, but on Tuesday the Supreme Court in Madrid ordered the establishment to pay her E44,000. She had demanded E551,000 but the court found the hotel only partially responsible for the accident, for not having emergency lighting in the suite.

Irons, 61, who lives in a controversial 'pink' castle in Ballydehob, Co. Cork, is perhaps best known for his role as Charles Ryder in the 1981 TV adaptation of Brideshead Revisited. He has been married to Irish actress Sinead Cusack, 61, since 1978 and they have two grown-up sons.

On Wednesday Miss Leon, who appeared in Pedro Almodovar's films Women On The Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown and Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down!, described the night in an interview with Spanish newspaper 20 Minutos.

She said: 'We met on a television programme called Vertigo. Later we designer shoes went to dinner, to dance. We were with five or six people and we decided to go for "one last drink" in the hotel. As Jeremy is such a genslp tleman he insisted I went in (to the suite) first. There was a staircase, I went to turn the light on and I fell. I went flying. Everyone was screaming, including me.

'They didn't know what had happened to me. Jeremy Irons ran to reception to tell them to bring a torch to see what had happened.

'There were 18 steps, and I fell to the bottom. I could have been killed. In court they asked me what I was going to do in the room. I told them "listen, I am a big girl and I can do whatever I like".

'I don't have to explain myself to anybody. He was married... She didn't name anyone and get a catfight started - much as everyone would've loved her to. Phir, someone asked her about the three Khans. Uh, oh... whoever asked the question called her Asin, with the emphasis on 'i' making it sound like 'e'. "Please, pronounce my name correctly. It is A-sin. And 'A' is to be pronounced like it is in Sanskrit... like 'aa'," said Asin tartly. That taken care of, she went on to the Khans. "Of course, I haven't worked with Shah Rukh. Not replica tag heruer watches that I don't want to, but haven't had a chance yet. So, I have only met him on a couple of occasions," said Asin, and then went on to sum up the three Khans in one word - actually one for each one of them. "Aamir..." Asin paused to think and said, "Focus. Salman would be a cool attitude towards work and life (that's not one word, but no one pointed that out), and Shah Rukh, I'd say charm," said Asin, making every print journo present there scribble furiously on their notepads.

Earlier on, someone else had asked her about Aamir's film, 3 Idiots, the spate of student suicides being attributed to the film and her thoughts on it. Controversial question, no? Do you think Asin answered that? replica breitling watches Naah! She smiled, looked nonplussed, and then said, "No comments. It would be better if stuck to answering questions pertaining to my work." Didn't we say she's one smart cookie?

'Check out Asins homepage

Follow us on Twitter for more stories

For Reprint Rights: timescontent.com

Other articles:
http://mywatches.babydagboek.com/1551/Gr-eight+stuff+from+Saints.html
http://www.umefriends.com/blog/view/id_780/title_oban-swans-have-own-bank-accou/
...

<trackback:ping>http://www.qdxiqu.com/cmd.asp?act=tb&id=312&key=a84027e0</trackback:ping>

Salman plays Salman! In fact, he could not resist getting down to his knees and swaying himself. The mercurial star was in Jaipur on Thursday to promote his latest film Wanted: Dead or Alive with Prabhudeva and music directors Sajid-Wajid.
                                          Clip on charms
And to meet with children of Umang school on the lawns of hotel Jaimahal Palace.

But ultimately, that's all he did. The meeting with the media never happened. Fed up with waiting for 'the Khan' for more than an hour at his scheduled press conference venue, Jaipur's media walked out en masse, angry and frustrated (see box: Storm redux).

Only an hour earlier, Khan had charmed everyone with his engagement with physically and mentally challenged children-shaking hands, posing for photographs, talking, dancing, and announcing a donation of Rs5 lakh for the school building. He then allowed the children to quiz him on dialogues from his films-he had to guess the name of the film!

'Salman uncle' was more than happy to participate and compliment those who impressed him. "Lokesh ke liye taaliyan ho jayen," he said when the boy demonstrated his ability to tell the day of the week in any year.

And then it was time for replica breitling watches him and the kids to shake a leg on numbers from Wanted....

The media, it seems however, was 'unwanted' by the film star.

Storm redux

Salman Khan and controversy are synonyms for each other. On Thursday, it was the media that was at the receiving end. Extremely fed up of waiting for him, the Jaipur media walked out of his press conference in a hotel.

The actor, on tour to promote his upcoming Wanted: Dead or Alive, was supposed to address the media along with director Prabhudeva and music directors Sajid-Wajid. But he did not emerge from his room, keeping around 60 print and electronic journalists waiting for him for more than an hour.

Considering his star status, the Thomas sabo charms media too sat patiently. But Salman Khan did not appear. Having run out of patience, the media decided to boycott the press conference. Seeing the media walking out, Khan came out of his room and started walking down to the hall. By then, the media had walked out.

Although the organisers soon followed the media to the parking area to explain the star's delayed arrival, citing dehydration, but the mediapeople were in no mood to listen.

Other articles:
http://www.zlepb.com/bbs/Blog.asp?BlogUserName=mywatche&menu=ShowBlog&BlogID=448
http://www.xmyuena.com/Blog.asp?BlogUserName=mywatche&menu=ShowBlog&BlogID=447
...

<trackback:ping>http://www.qdxiqu.com/cmd.asp?act=tb&id=311&key=f491756f</trackback:ping>
